Lead Poisoning - Was it from Wine?

(Time 0:44)

Details

The police had investigated a possible murder in a California suburb. An older couple was found dead in their bed with no signs of foul play. The door was locked from the inside, and there was no indication forced of entry. Toxicology showed that there was a toxic level of lead in both blood streams.

Was this a suicide? Lead is an unlikely poison and does not show up in many homicides or suicides, but in this case lead has been the cause of accidental poisoning. Lead poisoning is still a problem among small children who ingest lead-containing paint chips from old walls. So was this an accident?
